We get out the dog hair your vacuum can't. Mobile service at your home, parkade or office across Metro Vancouver.

Dog and cat hair has a barbed structure and a static charge that drives it down between carpet fibres and into the weave of upholstery, where a vacuum can't get a grip on it. Removing it properly means lifting the hair out of the fibre first, then extracting it. We do that at your home, parkade or office, anywhere in Metro Vancouver.
Pet hair removal is an add-on to our interior detailing service, priced by severity. Light hair is handled within a standard detail. Hair embedded deep enough that vacuuming doesn't move it is a separate charge — and the job we're built for.
A vacuum pulls air, and air doesn't move hair that's wedged into fabric. Three things make pet hair different from ordinary dust:
Vancouver makes it worse. A dog coming back from Buntzen Lake or Minnekhada in the rainy season is wet — and wet hair is heavier, lies flatter, and presses into the fabric under body weight. It dries in place, embedded, and no vacuum catches it after. The DIY method works on fresh hair in an accessible surface. The professional service exists for everything else.
The correct sequence is agitation first, extraction second. Vacuuming before you've broken the hair's grip on the fabric is why most DIY attempts fail — you pull out what's loose and leave what matters.
Each surface type handles pet hair differently, and the removal method adjusts to match.
Ready to book an interior detail with pet hair removal?
Most interiors come out 90–100% clear. The exceptions are worth knowing before you book.
What we see in the field: the hardest pet hair jobs aren't the ones with the most hair — they're the ones where someone tried to DIY it first using the wrong sequence and pressed the hair deeper into the weave. If you've already tried, let us know so we adjust our starting point.
Pet hair removal is an add-on to an interior detail. The interior detail starts from $200 for a small vehicle; the pet hair add-on starts from $80, with the total depending on the animal, the fabric, and how long the hair has been accumulating.
| Situation | Add-on from |
|---|---|
| Light — short-hair dog, recent accumulation | $80 |
| Moderate — regular dog car, cloth seats, a season or two | $120 |
| Heavy — double-coat breed, years of accumulation, cargo area | $160–200 |
We can't give a firm number sight-unseen because the range is genuinely that wide. Book the interior detail, let us know about the pet hair in the notes, and we'll confirm pricing after the assessment. Full pricing details are on our pricing page.

Light surface hair is included in a full interior detail. Hair that's been worked deep into carpet fibres and upholstery weave — the kind that doesn't come up with a vacuum — is priced as an add-on because it can add one to three hours of labour. When you book, mention that you have pet hair so we allow the right amount of time.
Pet hair removal starts from $80 as an add-on to an interior detail. The final price depends on the animal, the fabric, and how long the hair has been accumulating. A short-hair dog's recent load adds an hour and runs toward the lower end. A Husky or Golden Retriever's two-year build-up in cloth seats is a longer job. We can't give a firm number without seeing the vehicle — anyone quoting sight-unseen is guessing.
Light to moderate hair adds one to two hours to a detail. Heavily loaded interiors — double-coated breeds, years of accumulation, hair worked into seat seams and carpet pile — can add two to three hours or more. Tell us the situation when you book and we'll build the right time window.
Yes. Double-coated breeds shed more undercoat and it works deeper into automotive fabric than single-coat hair. The process is the same — agitation to lift the hair out of the weave, then high-suction extraction — but it takes more passes. Some double-coat jobs also benefit from compressed air to blast hair out of seat seams and cargo liner edges before the final vacuum passes.
Yes. Pet odour lives in the fibre alongside the hair, and once the hair is out and the fabric is extracted, most of the smell goes with it. For persistent odour or a car that's carried a dog for years, we add an enzymatic treatment that breaks down the biological source rather than masking it. Mention the smell when you book so we know to include it.
You don't need to be present. We work at homes, parkades, and offices with our own onboard water supply. The one thing we need from the site is a standard 120V outlet — extension cord is fine. A covered spot is ideal, but for interior pet hair removal we work in almost any weather or covered space.
Yes, that's a normal job for us. We bring our own water and equipment and set up in your stall. We do this regularly in condo parkades, office buildings, and commercial parking structures across Metro Vancouver. Let us know the building and stall details when you book.
