Workplace Car Detailing

Yes, we detail cars at your workplace.

If you drive to work in Vancouver and the car sits parked for eight hours, that parked time is the ideal window to detail it. Nothing else in your day has to change. You leave the keys at reception, security, or a lockbox by your stall; we come to the building; the car is ready when you walk back to it.

The people who use this are the ones who never manage to get their car cleaned on a Saturday. Downtown core towers, the Broadway corridor, Marine Gateway, Brentwood, Metrotown, Lougheed, Surrey City Centre, and the Richmond business parks are where we run the most workplace jobs.

This is different from fleet detailing. Fleet is for vehicles a company owns. This page is for an individual employee's personal car parked at their workplace — the setup is the same, but the customer, the booking, and the billing are different.

How It Works

How does it work if I'm inside working?

You don't need to be there. Once we have the keys and the stall, the appointment runs without you. Here is the exact sequence:

  1. 1
    Book a weekday slot
Tell us the building, parking level, and stall number when you book.
  2. 2
    Key handoff
Reception, security desk, lockbox, parking attendant, or a two-minute meet in the lobby — whichever your building allows.
  3. 3
    We text when we start
    You keep working. No interruption.
  4. 4
    Two to four hours on-site
Depending on the package and vehicle condition. Every workplace job fits inside a standard workday.
  5. 5
Photo report + text when done
Keys go back the same way they came to us. You walk out to a finished car.

That's the whole flow. It's the same idea as interior detailing done at a residence, except the car is at the office and you're at your desk.

Self-Contained Water

Do you need water from the building?

No. Our van carries an onboard water tank, and every process we run is low-water by design. No hose bib, no shared tap, no plumbing tie-in to any suite, and no request to facilities. That's the whole reason workplace detailing in a commercial building is even possible — the building doesn't have to provide plumbing access, and there's no runoff across the parkade floor.

Wet materials go into bins on the van, not on the concrete, so nothing pools around your stall. That matters in Metro Vancouver specifically — vehicle wash water isn't allowed to enter storm drains, and our contained process sidesteps the issue that traditional driveway or parkade washes create.

Employer & Building Permission

Do I need permission from my employer or building management?

It depends on the building, and it's honestly less of a barrier than most people think. There are three real scenarios:

  • check_circle
Your own reserved stall in a small building or surface lot
Usually no one needs to know. Book it, hand off the keys, done.
  • check_circle
A leased tower with security and a parkade manager
A quick heads-up email is usually all it takes. If you'd rather not have that conversation, give us the building manager's contact and we'll speak with them directly.
  • check_circle
Buildings with a loading-bay or contractor protocol
We can book in through the standard visitor process and sign in with security like any other trade — same as an office plant service, IT technician, or ergonomics assessor.

We work quietly, we don't block traffic in the parkade, and we clean up before we leave. Buildings that let us in tend to have us back — the parking manager notices the difference between a mobile detailer and a general contractor, and the way we run the job is closer to the former.

Where We Work

Where exactly do you do the work?

Three environments cover almost every workplace job in Vancouver:

  • expand_less
    Underground office parkade
Same technique as condo work. Compact van, low-water process, standard parkade height clearance handled.
  • local_parking
    Surface lot or business-park stall
The most common environment outside the downtown core. Reserved or visitor stall, we set up beside the vehicle, done.
  • signpost
Street or visitor parking near the building
For sites where the lot itself is restricted. We coordinate the meter or free-parking window with your appointment length.

The districts we're in most often for workplace jobs: the Bentall and Waterfront area, Yaletown offices, Mount Pleasant and the Broadway Tech Centre, Glenlyon and Riverbend on the Burnaby side, Discovery Park, Annacis Island, Campbell Heights and Gloucester in Surrey, and Crestwood in Richmond. If your building is elsewhere in Metro Vancouver, tell us where and we'll confirm the fit.

Fits In A Workday

What can you do in a workday?

Almost the whole menu. An eight-hour window is more than enough for a full interior, a full exterior, or both together on most vehicles. You can detail it during your workday without cutting anything short.

The two grey areas are paint correction and ceramic coating. Single-stage correction usually fits inside a workday; multi-stage runs long. Coatings depend on the space — some workplace parkades or arranged indoor spots are clean and steady enough, others aren't. Send us your building and we'll tell you what's realistic.

Great Service!!! The guys came down to my lower level parking had no trouble getting in and did an amazing job while I went to the gym and ran errands. They left a very clean environment and the car looks immaculate. I would highly recommend them.

The attention to detail was amazing — every inch of the interior was spotless, even the tiny areas. They were professional and on time. One of the best parts is how convenient it is — they come right to you. Highly recommend!

For Employers & Office Managers

Can my company set this up for the whole team?

Yes. We run workplace programs in three shapes, priced on request depending on volume and building:

  • groups
    Employee perk day
We block a day (or a recurring day) at your building. Staff sign up for slots. You can subsidise it fully, split it, or have staff pay us direct — whichever fits the program.
  • groups
    Executive or client-facing vehicles
A recurring monthly detail on the vehicles that meet clients or move executives. Usually a small named list, handled the same day each month.
  • local_shipping
    Company-owned vehicles
This is fleet, and it has its own page — see fleet detailing for company-owned pool cars, service vans, sales fleets, and driving-school cars.

If you're an HR lead, an EA, or an office manager evaluating this as a staff benefit, the simplest first step is a short conversation about your building and how many people would use it. We'll come back with a slot plan and per-vehicle pricing you can circulate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Workplace detailing FAQ

Can you detail my car while I'm at work?

add

Yes. We detail cars in office parkades and workplace parking lots across Metro Vancouver every week. You leave the keys at reception, security, or a lockbox; we work in your stall while you're at your desk; you drive home in a clean car. The vehicle sits parked for eight hours anyway — we use that window instead of your Saturday.

Do I need to be there?

add

No. You don't need to leave your desk once we start. We text when we arrive and when we finish, and send a short photo report of the completed work. If a two-minute handoff at the start is easier than staging the keys, we can meet you in the lobby, then you go back to your day.

How do I get you my keys?

add

Four ways, whichever your building allows. Drop them at reception or the security desk with our appointment noted on the visitor log, leave them in a lockbox by your stall, hand them off in the lobby for two minutes, or pass them to the parking attendant. Keys go back the same way when the job is done.

Do you need water from the building?

add

No. Our van carries an onboard water tank and every process we run is low-water by design. No hose bib, no shared tap, no plumbing tie-in to any suite, and no request to facilities. Wet materials go into bins on the van, not on the concrete, so nothing pools around your stall.

Will my employer or building need to approve it?

add

It depends on the building. Reserved stalls in smaller buildings and surface lots usually need no approval at all. Larger leased towers with a parkade manager or a formal loading-bay protocol usually prefer a heads-up email, and we're happy to speak with your building manager or security directly if that makes it easier. We work quietly and clean the stall before we leave.

Can you work in an underground office parkade?

add

Yes. We run a Ford Transit Connect — a compact work van built for exactly this — and we've been detailing cars in Vancouver underground parkades for years. Bentall/Waterfront area, Yaletown, the Broadway corridor, Brentwood, Metrotown, and Surrey City Centre towers all clear the standard 2.0m parkade height without issue.

How long does it take?

add

Two to four hours for most workplace jobs. A full interior detail runs 2–5 hours, exterior 1.5–3, and a combined interior-plus-exterior sits in the 3–6 range depending on vehicle size and condition. Every option fits inside a standard eight-hour workday.

Can you come on a weekday during business hours only?

add

Weekdays during business hours are our core availability, so yes. Evenings and weekends are also possible if that suits you better, but weekday parkade access is exactly what this setup is built around — that's when your car is already at the building and sitting empty.

If you also live in a condo tower, we handle those too — see parkade detailing in Vancouver for the residential version of this setup.
